Five former Blue Devils were selected to join the U.S. Select Team this summer in Las Vegas, as announced by USA Basketball today. The 25-man list includes Brandon Ingram, Justise Winslow, Jahlil Okafor, Rodney Hood, and Jabari Parker.

The select team is a roster compiled of young rising stars that will compete and practice against the U.S. men’s senior national team, as it prepares for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who will succeed Coach K as the U.S. coach after this year, will handle the coaching duties for the Select Team along with Villanova coach Jay Wright.

The five selectees will join Miles Plumlee (2014), Mason Plumlee (2014), and Kyrie Irving (2012) as the most recent former Blue Devils to be invited to the U.S. Select Team.

Duke will be well-represented in Vegas with the five Select Team members joining Irving, Coach K, and Duke assistant coaches in camp.  Ingram, Parker, Okafor, and Winslow have all represented the U.S. on the junior level.
