2017 Nike Hoops Summit – Duke Commits and Recruits Take on the World

Tonight Duke commits and recruits will take part in the annual Nike Hoops Summit in Portland, OR.

When: Fri. April 7
Time: 10 pm EDT
Where: Portland, OR – Moda Center
TV: ESPN2 or WatchESPN

This will be the 20th Nike Hoops Summit in which members of the USA Junior National Select Team will square off against the World Select Team. The USA team is comprised of the best high school seniors in America and they will face the best players from around the world who are 19 and younger. The US is 13-6 in this event.

28 former Duke players who have taken part in this event include Shane Battier, Elton Brand, Quinn Cook, Brandon Ingram, Kyrie Irving, Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor, Jabari Parker, Jayson Tatum, Jason Williams, Justise Winslow, and more.

This year’s Team USA will feature Duke commits Wendell Carter Jr. and Gary Trent Jr. as well as recruits Mohamed Bamba, Trevon Duval, and Kevin Knox II. All five players were also selected as McDonald’s All-Americans.
