Could Duke be the Leader for Jabari Parker?

Jabari Parker took his official visit to Duke last weekend and from the sound of it, the visit went very well. Today, Chicago Sun-Times Prep Sports Editor, Michael O’Brien (@michaelsobrien) tweeted, “Hearing Jabari Parker’s visit to Duke went very, very well. Make Duke the clear leader right now. Parker heads to Florida tomorrow.” O’Brien further goes on to state that his information came from a “good source” and this is the first time he has heard anything concrete from someone close enough to matter.

Take this information with a grain of salt. Though, I think it will ultimately come down to either Michigan State or Duke, Parker does not plan to commit until spring, so a lot can change between now and then. Parker and his family have been very quite about his recruitment so, unless I hear it from Jabari Parker himself, I wouldn’t give it too much thought.

Nonetheless, this is very exciting news for Blue Devil Nation. Whether this statement from Michael O’Brien is true or not, Duke fans have to be confident with their chances of landing the highly talented Jabari Parker.
