The 2017 ACC Basketball Tournament kicks off Tuesday afternoon at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

It’s expected to be five days of exciting hoops action with as many as 10 potential NCAA Tournament teams in the field.

As the No. 5 seed, Duke gets a bye in the opening round and will then face the winner of the game between No. 12 Clemson and No. 13 N.C. State. The Blue Devils are scheduled to play their first game on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

While we’ll certainly be rooting for Duke, the team here at Duke Report isn’t afraid to offer objective opinions on who we think will have the most success in Brooklyn this week at the ACC Tournament.

Here are our predictions for which team we think will take home the crown of being the 2017 ACC Champion and which player will earn tournament MVP honors. I’ve also included our Twitter accounts so you can heckle us for our predictions.

David has been a die hard fan of Duke Basketball since the 1990's, when Coach K and the Blue Devils slapped the floor and made their way into his heart. During his playing days, David perfected his role on his basketball team as being the guy who would hold everyone on the bench back after a teammate would make a clutch shot. He once played N.C. State legend David Thompson in a game of H-O-R-S-E. David won.
