The offseason began with the Orlando Magic extending a qualifying offer to Amile Jefferson. This gave them the right to match an offer sheet he signed with another team. But back on July 12th, the Magic rescinded the offer making Jefferson an unrestricted free agent.
This morning he has agreed to a one year deal to return to Orlando:
Free agent forward Amile Jefferson has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Orlando Magic, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed at this time.
Jefferson has appeared in 13 games in his young NBA career that has seen him spend time in the G League and on the Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic rosters.
