The Duke basketball program will have a strong presence at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine.

The complete list of participants was released in a tweet by Sports Illustrated on Thursday afternoon and there are three former Blue Devils on the list – Quinn Cook, Tyus Jones, and Justise Winslow.

All three players will head to Chicago from May 14-15 in hopes of impressing NBA scouts, front offices, and coaching staffs in an effort to be picked in this summer’s NBA Draft.

ACC Player of the Year and National Freshman of the Year Jahlil Okafor will not be participating in the combine and is already expected to be taken with one of the top picks in this year’s draft.

Justise Winslow is also projected as a likely Top 10 pick while Tyus Jones is expected to be taken later in the 1st round. Quinn Cook isn’t currently projected to be picked in any of the widely used mock drafts, but a strong performance at the combine could help his stock.

David has been a die hard fan of Duke Basketball since the 1990's, when Coach K and the Blue Devils slapped the floor and made their way into his heart. During his playing days, David perfected his role on his basketball team as being the guy who would hold everyone on the bench back after a teammate would make a clutch shot. He once played N.C. State legend David Thompson in a game of H-O-R-S-E. David won.

I think Quinn has a solid shot to be picked up in the second round. Shooting and ball handling are always at a premium and Quin has shown the ability to guard at a high level as well. No reason to think he cant play a role similar to Aaron Brooks in the NBA as a 2nd team scorer.
