Duke Basketball in the NBA – Dec. 21st

Several Blue Devils were back in action last night in the NBA.

Lance Thomas nearly had a perfect night last night as he went 9-9 from the floor including 3-3 from 3 and 3-3 from the free throw line to score 24 points, grab 2 rebounds, hand out 2 assists, and a steal. The only blemish on this night? The New York Knicks lost to the Orlando Magic 107-99.

Mason Plumlee had yet another double double as he finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, a steal, and a blocked shot. Gerald Henderson added 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists as the Portland Trail Blazers lost to the Atlanta Hawks 106-97.

Rodney Hood would turn out to be the only Blue Devil on a winning team last night as he and the Utah Jazz defeated the Phoenix Suns 110-89. Hood had 14 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot for the Jazz.

J.J. Redick had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in the Los Angeles Clippers 100-99 loss to Kyle Singler and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Singler had 2 points and a steal for OKC.

Seth Curry had 3 points, a rebound, and a steal in a losing effort as the Washington Wizards beat the Sacramento Kings 113-99.
