Duke Basketball in the NBA – Halloween Edition

While most Duke fans were probably watching (then cursing) the Duke and Miami football game last night, several Blue Devils took to the court in the NBA.

Rodney Hood is quietly becoming a first round steal in Utah. He was drafted 23rd overall in the 2014 NBA Draft and is putting together a nice season so far. He stuffed the stat sheet last night scoring 17 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, handing out an assist and had 4 steals. Check out some highlights from the game:

Another Blue Devil having a nice start to the season is Lance Thomas. The undrafted free agent from 2010 put up another double digit game last night as he scored 12 points in the New York Knicks win over the Washington Wizards.

So how’d the rest of the Blue Devils do?

– Mason Plumlee finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 block shots. He also got into a little scuffle with Tyson Chandler:

– J.J. Redick scored 23 points and had 2 assists as well as a blocked shot:

– Austin Rivers did not score in 12 minutes of action.

– Seth Curry did not enter the game for the Sacramento Kings.
