Several Blue Devils were in action last night in the NBA…


Jahlil Okafor led the way as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Orlando Magic 96-87. Okafor had 20 points, 5 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a blocked shot in the win.

Luol Deng had 16 points, 8 rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot while Justise Winslow added 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, but it wasn’t enough as the Miami Heat lost to the Washington Wizards 106-87. Josh McRoberts is still out of action with a bruised knee. He has not played since injuring it on Dec. 9th.

Kyrie Irving had 9 points, a rebound, and 5 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Brooklyn Nets 91-78.

Rodney Hood had a monster game but it wasn’t enough as the Utah Jazz fell to the New York Knicks in OT 118-111. Hood finished with 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Lance Thomas did not play for the Knicks due to a sore knee.

Kyle Singler had 11 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Charlotte Hornets 109-95.

Ryan Kelly had 2 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist in the Los Angeles Lakers 112-93 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Seth Curry did not record any stats in just 2 minutes of action.

Mason Plumlee had 6 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal while Gerald Henderson added 4 points, a rebound, 2 assists, and a blocked shot but it wasn’t enough as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 104-98.
