Duke Basketball in the NBA – Nov. 1st

Last night was a fairly light schedule for Duke players in the NBA.

Justise Winslow, Luol Deng, and Josh McRoberts took on the Houston Rockets as the Heat came back from a 20 point deficit to beat the Rockets 109-89.

Deng finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and assist. McRoberts grabbed 2 rebounds in just 5 minutes of action. But it was Justise Winslow getting the most publicity last night for his defense yet again:

He even caught the attention of Bill Simmons:

Justise finished the night with 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

In other action around the league…

Miles Plumlee had 8 points, 3 rebounds, a steal, 4 blocked shots and a few highlight:

Kyle Singler finished with 3 points, 2 rebounds, a steal, and 2 blocked shots. He had one of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 7 three pointers in the first half:

In the final game of the night, Ryan Kelly, while he didn’t score, had 4 rebounds, an assist, and a blocked shot.
