Duke Basketball in the NBA – Nov. 4th

Several Blue Devils were in action last night, and a few went head to head against each other.

Jabari Parker made his 2015 debut against Jahlil Okafor and Miles Plumlee as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 91-87. Parker finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, and an assist in just 16 minutes of action. His time will be limited to about 15-20 minutes a game for the near future. Jahlil Okafor had yet another strong game as he had 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocked shots. Okafor is already a leading contender for NBA Rookie of the Year. Miles Plumlee finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, and 2 blocked shots in just 12 minutes of action.

On the west coast, Mason Plumlee and the Portland Trail Blazers faced off against Rodney Hood and the Utah Jazz. Plumlee’s Blazers beat the Jazz 108-82. The Plumlord had another great game as he finished with 12 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Mason has always shown if he’s given the chance in the NBA, he can shine. He’s proving that early this season as a starter for Portland. For the Jazz, Hood finished with 10 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal. While Hood fell in the 2014 NBA Draft, he found the perfect home for him in Utah.
