While the NBA officially opened its season on Wed., tonight was the first night Blue Devils were in action.
Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow made their NBA debut, Josh McRoberts returned from injury, and Mason Plumlee begin the new season with a new team.
So how’d everyone do?
Big Jah had one of the most impressive rookie debuts in NBA history. He started his career 5 for 5 and finished with 26 points including 6 for 6 (!) from the free throw line:
While Okafor had the most complete game, Justise Winslow had the highlight of the night when he dunked on not 1, not 2, but 3 Charlotte Hornets:
Guess they shouldn’t have drafted Frank Kaminksy over Justise.
You can check out how the rest of the Blue Devils* did below.
*Note: Gerald Henderson, Kyrie Irving, and Jabari Parker did not play as they are still recovering from injury. Seth Curry, Tyus Jones, and Kyle Singler did not enter the game for their respective teams.
