Duke Basketball in the NBA – Oct. 29th

Last night was a light night in the NBA with only 3 games on the schedule and only 2 games featuring Blue Devils.

Lance Thomas and the New York Knicks were in action against the Atlanta Hawks. Thomas has carved out a nice role with the Knicks in the last few years. He finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assists as the Knicks fell to the Hawks 112-101.

In the late game of the evening, J.J. Redick and the Los Angeles Clippers faced the Dallas Mavericks. Redick started out hot as he scored 7 points in the first 6 minutes of the game. He finished with 12 pts, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and a steal in 24 minutes of action.

Not to be outdone, Austin Rivers pitched in with 14 points, 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal as the Clippers routed the Mavs 104-88.

Tonight is a full slate of games, so if you can’t watch Duke take on Florida Southern in their first exhibition game of the season, you have plenty of chances to see Blue Devils play in the NBA.
