In one of the most anticipated match-ups in recent memory, former #1 picks Zion Williamson and LeBron James will square off tonight for the first time. Williamson was out due to knee surgery the first two times the New Orleans Pelicans faced off with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The game will be featured on TNT and tip off is scheduled for 10pm ET.

The Pelicans are fighting for the 8th spot in the playoffs as they are currently three games behind the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference for the final spot. If they were to overtake the Grizzlies, their first round opponent would be none other than James and the Lakers.

Williamson spoke to Yahoo Sports and had this to say about James:

“I used to watch him all the time, especially when he was in Cleveland the first time, he was just an incredible player to watch, he always held his own.

“Sometimes I feel he doesn’t get the respect he deserves but it’s not for me to decide.”

In the first 12 games of his career, Williamson is averaging 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. In his second season with the Lakers, James is averaging 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists.

This should be an exciting match-up of the current King vs. the future King of the NBA.
