It’s a big day for Duke basketball recruiting as the Blue Devil coaches are expected to meet with two of the top targets in the class of 2016.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout and Rivals Nation, the Duke coaches plan to visit both Harry Giles and Wenyen Gabriel on Tuesday.

The news of meeting with Gabriel was reported via Twitter by Rivals Nation and Daniels reported news of the visit with Giles.

Both players are 5-star prospects in the class of 2016 who have received a great deal of attention from the Duke coaching staff over the past few months. Giles is the No. 1 ranked player in the class by many recruiting services and widely regarded as the potential No. 1 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

The 6’10”, 230-pound forward from Winston-Salem, N.C., is one of the most dominant players in the 2016 class and will spend his senior season playing at Oak Hill Academy.

Gabriel is a player who has exploded in the recruiting rankings in the past few weeks with his strong play on the summer circuit. At 6’9″, 195 pounds, Gabriel is an athletic, versatile wing who can score from anywhere on the floor.

Giles lists Duke as one of his five finalists – along with Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas and Wake Forest. Gabriel is also down to five finalists – Duke, Kentucky, Providence, UConn, & Maryland.
