We are only a few days away from the official start of the 2017-18 season with Countdown to Craziness taking place Fri. night.

Here are some of the top headlines from the past week.

Duke offers 2019 5 Star SF Wendell Moore

Duke offered Wendell Moore, a 5 star small forward out of Cox Mill High School in Concord, NC. This is an offer many Blue Devil fans have been waiting on the team to make. Moore, by some accounts, grew up a Duke fan and had been waiting for this offer. He is currently ranked 22nd in the 247Sports Composite and has 11 scholarship offers. With Moore being from NC, UNC is after him hard to commit.

Duke Offers 2019 5 Star Isaiah Stewart

Duke offered Isaiah Stewart, a 6’8 5 star big man out of La Lumiere School in Rochester, NY. Stewart currently holds 32 scholarship offers and is ranked 30th overall in the 247Sports Composite. He recently spoke about his recruitment and Duke’s interest in him.

Five star PF James Wiseman Discusses Recruitment

2019 5 Star PF James Wiseman gave an update on his recruitment. He mentions that he wants to visit Duke and hopefully can schedule one soon. Wiseman is ranked 2nd overall in the 247Sports Composite. Kentucky currently leads Kansas in the Crystal Ball 89% to 11%.

Class of 2020 guard R.J. Hampton seeing early interest from top programs

While he’s only a sophomore, 5 start PG R.J. Hampton is hearing from a lot of schools including Duke, Kansas, and Texas. He recently sat down with Rivals to discuss his recruitment:
