Duke held its annual Countdown to Craziness officially signaling the start of the college basketball season.

Here are some of the top headlines from the past week.

Top Recruits Take In Countdown To Craziness

Every year many of the nation’s top recruits come to Cameron Indoor to take in Countdown to Craziness. This year 2018 5 Star Zion Williamson made a repeat visit to Durham. The Blue Devils are still trying to add Zion to what could be an epic 2018 class. 2019 5 Stars Armando Bacot, Joey Baker, Matthew Hurt, and 2020 5 Stars R.J. Hampton and Isaiah Todd were also in attendance.

Zion Williamson Trims List

Fresh off his visit to Countdown to Craziness this past weekend, Zion Williamson is apparently no longer considering UCLA according to Adam Zagoria. That trims his list down to Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, South Carolina and Clemson. Kentucky still leads the Crystal Ball with 47% of the picks.

2019 5 Star PF Armando Bacot Releases Top 10

Armando Bacot, a Top 20 PF in the class of 2019 released his Top 10. They are Duke, UNC, Kansas, Virginia Tech, Virginia, VCU, Villanova, UCLA, Oklahoma State, and Georgetown. Given everything that has happened at Oklahoma State, it was interesting to see them included. Duke has a great chance at landing the talented big man.

Wendell Moore To Release Top 10 Later This Week

Wendell Moore received an offer from Duke last week. He attended NC State’s midnight madness event this past Fri. and announced on Twitter he is trimming his list later this week:
