Here are some of the top headlines from the past week.

2019 5 Star Forward Joey Baker Commits to Duke

On Sun. night Duke landed the commitment of 2019 Top 25 5 Star recruit Joey Baker. Baker is a 6’7 forward who plays for Trinity Christian School in Fayetteville, NC. He is the first commitment for the 2019 class.

One on one with Isaiah Stewart

Steve Clark of The Devils Den sat down with 2019 big man Isaiah Stewart to discuss his recent offer from Duke. Subscription is required, but definitely well worth it to get an inside look into a player’s recruitment. Notre Dame currently leads in the Crystal Ball for Stewart.

Reminder: R.J. Barrett to announce November 10th

There hasn’t been much news on the R.J. Barrett front recently and that’s likely by design from his camp. He is still scheduled to announce his commitment on Friday, November 10th. Announcements in November have worked out well recently with Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor, Gary Trent Jr, and Wendell Carter Jr. (just to name a few) have all announced in November. Duke currently leads in the Crystal Ball for Barrett.

Zion Williamson Down to Duke & Kentucky?

Evan Daniels spoke to The Herald-Leader and said ““The scuttlebutt is that it’s a race between Kentucky and Duke. There’s not a lot of new information coming out about that recruitment.” Williamson recently took an official visit to UNC. Still no word on when he could announce his decision.
