The 2016 recruiting class for the Duke basketball program is officially set. With today’s announcement from Marques Bolden that he’d be committing to Duke, the waiting game is over for the Blue Devils and their incoming freshman class.

The school posted a release earlier this afternoon as an official welcome to Bolden and Australian wing Jack White.

They’ll be joining Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum, Frank Jackson and Javin DeLaurier, who all enrolled at Duke earlier this week, according to Adam Rowe of 247Sports.

The addition of Bolden gives the Blue Devils the top ranked 2016 recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and four of the top 15 players in the 247Sports Composite player rankings.

Giles is the No. 2 overall player and No. 1 ranked power forward, despite missing his entire senior season with a knee injury. Jayson Tatum is the No. 4 overall player and No. 1 ranked small forward. Frank Jackson is the No. 13 overall player and No. 4 point guard. Marques Bolden is the top ranked center and No. 15 overall player.

With an incredibly talented incoming freshman class and the experience of guys like Grayson Allen, Amile Jefferson, Matt Jones, and Luke Kennard, Duke will be a near lock to enter the 2016-17 season as the favorite to win the national championship.

It certainly has the potential to be one of Mike Krzyzewski’s most talented teams in the history of his tenure at Duke.

Now, it’s time to get to work.

Here’s a great video from Duke Blue Planet featuring the incoming freshmen. Welcome to the Duke family, guys!
