Jalen Johnson joins a long list of one-and-dones and high draft picks such as Kyrie Irving, Zion Williamson, and most recently Vernon Carey Jr. to wear #1.
D.J. Steward will wear #2. Most recently Cassius Stanley wore it. #2 has quite of bit of championship history behind it with National Champions Nolan Smith and Quinn Cook spending four years each with it.
Incoming point guard Jeremy Roach takes over #3 from outgoing point guard and ACC Player of the year Tre Jones.
Jaemyn Brakefield will wear #5 last worn by Luke Kennard and also worn by National Champion Tyus Jones.
Center Mark Williams will try and follow in Jahlil Okafor’s footsteps with #15.
Rounding out the class, Henry Coleman will wear #34 who has most recently seen Ryan Kelly and Wendell Carter Jr. in that jersey.
