Duke to Face Ohio State in 2021 Big Ten/ACC Challenge

Duke will head to Columbus, Ohio, to take on Ohio State in the 2021 Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Tuesday, Nov. 30, as the matchups for the 23rd edition of the event were released Monday by ESPN.

The Blue Devils and Buckeyes have not met since the 2012 season and are playing one another for the fourth time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Duke holds a 2-1 record against OSU in the Challenge, with a 91-76 win in 2002 behind 20 points from J.J. Redick and a 73-68 victory in 2012 in a matchup of two top-five teams.

Duke is 19-3 (.864) all-time in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, marking both the most wins and best winning percentage in the event’s history. The all-time series between Duke and Ohio State dates back to 1963, with the Blue Devils leading 4-3.

Duke enters the 2021-22 season – the final year of head coach Mike Krzyzewski‘s storied career – looking to bounce back from a 13-11 record this past season. The Buckeyes finished the 2020-21 campaign ranked No. 7 in the AP Top 25 with a 21-10 record.

The ACC leads the all-time series in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, 12-7-3, but the Big Ten has won the event in each of the past two seasons.
