Interested in writing about Duke Basketball? Read this to find out how.

I’ve been thinking of ways to involve you, the reader, more on my site and I think I’ve found a way. It’s called Fan TakeI’m looking for fans who want to write articles about Duke Basketball and/or Duke Football.

You’re free to vent, analyze, or make us laugh, I real don’t care. If you just want to show off your writing skills or just to get your name out there, that’s fine too. Sometimes Twitter and Forums just aren’t the right avenue to say what you want to say.

You are welcome to write a one time article, a monthly one, or even  weekly, the frequency is really up to you.

Of course there are some limitations. Poor written, overly profane, and the like will probably be rejected, but I do want you to be free to speak your mind.

You will not be paid, however, if I find your writing exceptional and people are really responding to it, that could change, especially if you are writing once a week or more.

If you are interested, please let me know. You can contact me here for more details or just leave a comment below.

**Update**  I had some issues with my Contact form, so if I haven’t replied back to you, please inquire again.

Jim!   What's up?!  Hey I think I would like to write some.  I don't see myself as a weekly contributor but would like to share my experiences for example like the Coaches Clinic in late Oct and getting inside look at team before the season.  Let me know.  My grammar is not the best being I'm a Math teacher but you could always correct it for me lol.  Hope all is well!

That sounds great Freddie. Anytime you want to submit an article, just send it via some type of word document file (Microsoft Word, Open Office, Google Docs, it doesn't matter) if possible.

    Hi Jim,
I'm no professional writer, but I am a big time Duke fan going back to the J-Will days. I'm not an "insider" and I don't have "sources", but I would enjoy giving my perspective from time to time.

I am one of the few Duke fans living up in  Maryland Terrapin country.  I would be excited to write some articles and give my perspective on Duke basketball.
Jefferson signing is much needed great news..

I am a huge Duke fan, always have been.  My father went to duke and took pictures for their basketball team in the early 90's.  His passion was passed on to me to the point that most would call it an obsession.  I follow their team and recuiting daily and think of myself as quite knowledgeable on the team.  Living in the D.C. area, I am exposed to some good high school basketball talent, which I take advantage of (also which Duke's team has).  That, couple with the fact that I grew up playing basketball competitively through high school makes me believe that I could provide good insight on Dukes recuiting.  I also find myself having a good deal of thoughts about how Duke's games went/what changes they can make/analyzing players performance.
Let me know how I can contribute to the sight,
