Duke has had a great start to the season by going 4-0, despite losing two key seniors on both sides of the ball. While the Blue Devils have struggled at times, they have come up with key plays to break games wide open. They have taken care of business and beaten the teams they are supposed to beat.
They get their first real test of the season this coming Sat. when they travel to Miami to face the Hurricanes in primetime (7:30pm ESPN2). Last year the Blue Devils defeated the Hurricanes 48-30 in Wallace Wade. Brandon Connette rushed for 4 TDs and Duke’s defense, as it had all last season, came up with a timely defensive turnover.
Miami is 2-2 on the season, but Duke Johnson is running wild as he’s already gotten 370 yds on the ground with 3 TDs. The key will be to stop him and again, force the QB into throwing interceptions.
Will Duke continue its winning ways or will Miami get revenge? Let us know in the poll below!
